In 2020, Susan developed an unknown illness that presented many challenges over the coming months and years. Through it all, Susan's story is one of hope, courage and perseverance. She has made incredible progress from the lowest points of her illness, and she continues forward each day with an inspiring level of dedication to her family, and an unwavering love for her art.

Susan and her husband Jason reside in the suburbs of Chicago, IL with their six children.
